Hi travellers!Your BamBam is back and relaxed after two weeks of lying on the beach and enjoying the Caribbean Sea. We were deciding on where to go and finally decided that Dominican Republic is the best choice - again! See how our stay at Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa looked like! From food, restaurants and more. Also full videos part 1 & 2 below :)
& Part 1 BELOW :Me and my fiancé are totally in love with Caribbean and we were so thrilled that we could spend our holiday at Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa ! We have visited a few resorts however I really have to say that Dreams have outdone themselves. Client service was over the top as they would say it "excelente" . I mean everyone was smiling. Not sure if it's the Sun or the air whatever it was it worked. ARRIVAL: When we arrived we went straight to the Adults Only Reception. It was our first time in "Adults Only". For those who might not know (I am sure most of you do) it is the part of the resort where only adults have access. When you are a young couple and don't have children on your own - this is the best! So we were greeted with drinks and snacks and then they escorted us to the room. We loved the room and the view. I have to say that going to other resorts we always ended up with double twin room (why would we need two beds - we are a couple of course we want to sleep in one bed lol). And in Dreams Resort we had one big bed which was extremely comfortable (in some hotels they definitely aren't). I loved the detail of a window - glass connecting bathroom and the bedroom. So after we were settled we went to the beach straight away. We enjoyed the rest of the day and of course were thrilled when we had the Adults Only beach as well - ahhh! After enjoying the Sun for a while we walked around and explored the beach. On one side of it was a lovely pier where I took loads of pictures during our stay. FOOD & Restaurants: They have 9 restaurants + Grill everyday on the beach with fresh fruit cutting everyday from 11am - around 2pm and also coffee shop that is open 24/7. Me and my bf are such foodies I wanted to try all in one go hahaha. During our stay we have tried all of them. They have Mediterranean, Italian, French,Pizzeria, Ocean Grill, Oceania, Japanese etc. So even if you are picky you will def. find something you like. We loved all however for some reason we kept returning to International Buffet. They had loads of options and every evening I would go and try all of the deserts they offered and there were loads hahaha. I always ate half of each and then left it for my bf which he wasn't happy about as he needed to finish them off. Hey, a girl can't finish everything off by herself can she? :D Overall food was amazing. Big breakfasts, great lunches and awesome dinners. Entertainment:There was always stuff to do in the resort. From foam parties, aerobics, volleyball, competitions and nigh-time the entertainment team always kept us entertained. We really liked the Music Star Based Show. I did miss one activity which they didn't have and that is Yoga.We have visited the Casino and played the Roulette once however my bf was a bit disappointed that he couldn't play Texas Holdem. Maybe in the future though, just something to think about :). They also have a Night Club and we just went once to pop our head in and out. I would really recommend this resort and am confident to say all Dreams Resorts as they know how to treat their customers. Worth every of the 5 stars they have! Outside Resort: You can do a lot outside - there are many activities, excursions that you can do however there is one restaurant outside the resort that I HAVE to point out as it was amazing. LAs PAlmas in Bayahibe. We had the most wonderful experience and the owner was so nice. Best lobster we ever had! Recommended 100%!
